    Great news if you didn’t qualify for Rolex this year, but you still want to ride cross country at the Kentucky Horse Park — It’s Festival year! Pack up your family and come to Champs in 2017. Basic Info: Qualify at your Regional Rally and meet the following criteria: To qualify for Eventing Championships, a rider must have completed (without elimination in any phase) two Horse Trials. If you’re planning to bring your family for a fun-filled Kentucky Horse Park family vacation this summer while you compete in the USPC Championships 2017, here’s the scoop.     Many Clubs meet Milestones at 2017 Equine Symposium and Convention

    Every year at USPC’s Annual Meeting clubs are recognized for their dedicated longevity with Pony Club. The Club Milestone Award is awarded when a club reaches either its 25th or its 50th anniversary. This year we had a total of fifteen clubs reach a milestone anniversary. During the Meeting of the Corporations on Saturday morning, eleven clubs celebrated their 25th Anniversary by receiving a 25 Year Club Milestone Award.     2017 Academy of Achievement and NYC Inductees Announced!

    Every year at The USPC Equine Symposium amd Convention, The National Youth Congress (NYC) convenes for three days. NYC began in 1998 to recognize outstanding Pony Club Members. The NYC delegates are selected by their regions and are provided the opportunity to learn valuable life skills to help them navigate their futures. This year 33 delegates were a part of the three day Congress.     Founders Awards Presented at the 2017 Equine Symposium and Convention

    During the 2017 USPC Equine Symposium and Convention held January 26-29 in Los Angeles, California, four individuals were awarded the Founders’ Award, an honor reserved for Pony Club’s most worthy volunteers. This prestigious award is made each year to those who have made a significant contribution to Pony Club at the Local or Regional and National Levels over a period of 20 years or more. The recipients of the Founders Awards for 2017 are: Jan Jenson, Alex Weiss, Shelley Kincaid, and Claire Harmon. Jan Jenson.     The Truth About Vaulting: How to Fit a Vaulting into a Riding Program
