Meet the 2025 USPC Founders Award Winners
The USPC Founders Award is one of the highest honors in Pony Club—reserved for individuals whose dedication has shaped the organization at the local, regional, and national levels for 20 years or more. This isn’t simply long service; it’s decades of mentorship, leadership, and quiet behind-the-scenes impact that helps Pony Club thrive for generations to come. During the 2026 USPC Convention in Lincolnshire, Ill., three extraordinary volunteers were recognized with the 2024 Founders Award at the Saturday Night Banquet held at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Their stories reflect the heart of Pony Club—and are well worth the read.

Introducing the 2026 Academy of Achievement Inductees and the National Youth Congress Delegates
The USPC Academy of Achievement (AA) shines a spotlight on Pony Club alumni who are doing incredible things in the world beyond the barn. As part of the honor, they headed to the 2026 USPC Convention to take part in the USPC National Youth Congress, sponsored by the Western & English Sales Association (WESA) and Dreamers & Schemers. The National Youth Congress (NYC) is an intensive leadership experience designed for members ages 18 to 23. Meet both groups of special Pony Club members honored for their achievements.

The United States Pony Clubs Announces New Board of Governors Members
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) announced the election of the current slate of the USPC Board of Governors, who were all confirmed at the 2025 USPC Convention, held January 22-26, 2025, at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa near Traverse City, Mich. The new slate included five new Board of Governors members and four new Advisory Committee members. Read more about them here.

Pony Club Newsletter Notes from the 1980s: A Decade of Development
A lot can happen in 10 years for an organization. As evidenced in the Pony Club News newsletter, the 1980s were transformative years for the United States Pony Clubs, marked by significant organizational changes with the National Office, leadership, and the committees; the introduction of what is now an iconic event—Pony Club Festival (now called USPC Festival); changes to other championships; the continuation of many international exchanges; and a focus on safety and education. As the organization expanded, so did the USPC newsletter, reaching upwards of 20 pages. (USPC) is excited to announce that it will be hosting ambassadors from countries within the Pony Club International Alliance (PCIA), July 16–20, 2024, during the 2024 USPC Festival, which is set for July 15-22 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky.
