Meet Rob Burk, the 2026 USPC Convention Keynote Speaker
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) is proud to host Rob Burk, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the United States Eventing Association (USEA), as the keynote speaker at the 2026 USPC Convention, sponsored by Elizabeth Hamill Bramsen, 1961 A Alum, Wayne-Du Page Hunt Pony Club; and Via Nova Training. The event is being held January 28-February 1 at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire, Ill. Guests of the sold-out Saturday Night Banquet on January 31, 2026, will get to hear Burk speak about his career, his time with horses, and his experiences in Pony Club, both as a participant and as a parent, and now as a current Board of Governors member.

Burk has served as the CEO of USEA since 2015. Before taking the helm at USEA, he held leadership roles within the U.S. Department of Agriculture and served as the first executive director of the Maryland Horse Industry Board.
During his tenure, the USEA has navigated some of the sport’s most challenging years, yet it has continued to thrive. Under his leadership, and thanks to the dedication of the USEA staff, the association has achieved significant growth and innovation. Notable accomplishments include advancements in competition safety, the expansion of all USEA Championships, the creation of the intercollegiate and interscholastic programs, and a revitalization of the USEA Foundation’s endowment and grant offerings. Educational programming has also been enhanced across all levels

A lifelong horseman, Rob began eventing as a Young Rider in California, earning notable success at both the regional and national levels. A proud H-A Pony Club alum, Rob credits much of his success to the lessons and values instilled through Pony Club.
In recent years, Rob enjoyed the opportunity to coach the Iron Bridge Hounds Pony Club, where his daughter was an active member. He is a USPC Life Member and currently serves on the USPC Board of Governors. Rob was inducted into the USPC Academy of Achievement in 2018.
