Step 1: Register
This year’s convention offers four different registration options to customize your experience. Click here to see all the options and complete your registration. The deadline for regular registration, ticketed events and meal selections is January 5.
Step 2: Plan Your Trip
Reserve your room at the host hotel, the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, with a special USPC group room rate for the event. Use the Lodging link and be sure to book by January 3 to get the special USPC group rate. You’ll be right where all the convention activities are taking place, staying in a prime location to explore the city’s charming downtown district and attractions.
Explore Around Town for local dining within walking distance of the hotel, special tourism discounts for convention attendees, plus transportation options to get around during your stay.
Step 3: Do All the Convention Things!
Check out the general overview of the event to see what’s in store for each day and learn what the USPC Convention is all about, starting here.
Use the Schedule to plan your days at convention, including leadership training, meetings and all of your essential workshops. Customize the view and download to print or save to any device. You can also look up the hours for the Anatomy Lab presented by Banixx Horse & Pet Care and supported by Blue Ridge Equine Clinic and Old Dominion Equine Associates, and plan time to shop the Trade Fair and bid on silent auction items before the deadline.
To learn more about all that Convention has to offer, visit the “About” tab on the event website.
You’ll find a guide to all of the activities taking place during the event, including a scavenger hunt and raffle offered by this year’s hosting region, Old Dominion, and the popular Research Project Fair presented by Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and supported by Kentucky Equine Research. Convention also offers plenty of special events that you won’t want to miss, such as the Saturday night banquet.
Step 4: Rewind and Review
Convention attendees, both in-person and virtual, get access to recorded content for six months after the event. Log in through the event website to rewatch your favorite convention sessions or catch up on any that you may have missed.
