    From the backwoods of the Bayou to Santiago, Chile, Sydney Elliott has certainly traveled far since her days riding with Pony Club in Benton, Louisiana. While the Pan American Games U.S. Team Member is “still Louisiana, through and through,” her recent move to Hoffman, North Carolina, has helped prepare her for her latest experiences as a rider for Team USA.

    Kate Shoemaker and Vianne Finish Fifth in Grade IV FEI Grand Prix Test A at 2024 Paralympic Games

    With three U.S. combinations completing their first individual test yesterday at the equestrian grounds of the Palace of Versailles, Paralympian Kate Shoemaker and Vianne were the only U.S. combination to compete on Wednesday.

    U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team Sets Competitive Tone on First Day of Individual Competition at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

    The U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team completed a tremendous first day of competition to begin their campaign at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Three combinations took to the main stadium to compete in their first tests of the competition, capturing three individual medals in their respective grades. Rebecca Hart aboard Floratina, and Fiona Howard with Diamond Dunes, both earned Individual Gold, while Roxanne Trunnell, a Pony Club alum, and Fan Tastico H finished with Individual Silver.

    U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team Ready to Get Underway at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

    The U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team has been accepted following first horse inspection on the grounds of Versailles ahead of the start of competition tomorrow. The team is comprised of four athlete-and-horse combinations competing across five different grades.

    U.S. Equestrian Announces U.S. Paralympic Equestrian Team for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

    U.S. Equestrian is pleased to announce the athlete-and-horse combinations selected to represent the United States as part of Team USA at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Para-equestrian competition will begin on Tuesday, September 3, and continue through Saturday, September 7, hosted at the equestrian grounds of Versailles. Find out which one is a Pony Club alum.

    Pony Club Newsletter Notes from the 1980s: A Decade of Development

    A lot can happen in 10 years for an organization. As evidenced in the Pony Club News newsletter, the 1980s were transformative years for the United States Pony Clubs, marked by significant organizational changes with the National Office, leadership, and the committees; the introduction of what is now an iconic event—Pony Club Festival (now called USPC Festival); changes to other championships; the continuation of many international exchanges; and a focus on safety and education. As the organization expanded, so did the USPC newsletter, reaching upwards of 20 pages.
