USPC Festival Championships 2021 is open to members 10 years of age or older (as of January 1, 2021), with a D-2 certification who meet the competition eligibility requirements. The postponement of Festival led to an expanded eligibility period for the 2021 event, and the possibility of exception requests for rallies that were missed due to COVID concerns.

• Eligibility period, June 1, 2019 – June 27, 2021.

• Entry Time Period – May 1 through Noon ET, Monday, June 28.

• Championships competitors must submit and pay their entry using the online system, by the deadline.

• Specific age, certification and competition criteria for each discipline is available here.

• No exceptions will be made for minimum age and certification requirements.

• If a member wasn’t able to attend a rally (i.e. region didn’t host one, COVID concerns, etc.) and they meet the minimum age and certification, they should explore the possibility of an exception request. Exceptions must be submitted by the member’s regional supervisor and the process is outlined here.

•  Mount Substitutions – If a member’s eligible mount is no longer available, mount substitutions are available all substitute mounts must meet the same competition criteria as the original mount. (Tetrathlon competitors do not earn eligibility as a combination)

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) is the largest equestrian educational organization in North America. Started in 1954, the organization has developed curriculum that teaches safe riding skills and the care of horses through mounted and unmounted lessons. Through Pony Club, members have fun with horses and make lifelong friends while they develop skills, habits, and values that extend well beyond the barn and last a lifetime. Many members apply what they have learned in the USPC program successfully in their careers, educational and volunteer opportunities, and other life pursuits.
