Meet the 2025 USPC Founders Award Winners
The USPC Founders Award is one of the highest honors in Pony Club—reserved for individuals whose dedication has shaped the organization at the local, regional, and national levels for 20 years or more. This isn’t simply long service; it’s decades of mentorship, leadership, and quiet behind-the-scenes impact that helps Pony Club thrive for generations to come. During the 2026 USPC Convention in Lincolnshire, Ill., three extraordinary volunteers were recognized with the 2024 Founders Award at the Saturday Night Banquet held at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Their stories reflect the heart of Pony Club—and are well worth the read.

Introducing the 2026 Academy of Achievement Inductees and the National Youth Congress Delegates
The USPC Academy of Achievement (AA) shines a spotlight on Pony Club alumni who are doing incredible things in the world beyond the barn. As part of the honor, they headed to the 2026 USPC Convention to take part in the USPC National Youth Congress, sponsored by the Western & English Sales Association (WESA) and Dreamers & Schemers. The National Youth Congress (NYC) is an intensive leadership experience designed for members ages 18 to 23. Meet both groups of special Pony Club members honored for their achievements.

Meet Rob Burk, the 2026 USPC Convention Keynote Speaker
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. From Oregon to Kentucky: Pony Club Siblings Showcase Sportsmanship at the USEF Pony Jumper National Championships
For siblings Zachary and Jacqueline Sherer, the 2025 USEF Pony Jumper National Championships, held in early August during the USEF Pony Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky., were more than just a competition—they were a testament to resilience, sportsmanship, and preparation, all hallmarks of the Pony Club program. Pony Club members Zachary, 15, and Jacqueline, 14, used what they have been taught in Pony Club over the past six years to make the most of their experience. Zachary’s journey was especially poignant as he overcame multiple challenges before finding success on the podium.

Dr. Marty Whitehouse Riney, Pony Club Alum: Finding Her Work-Life Balance
By all accounts, Dr. Marty Whitehouse Riney is doing the impossible—and making it look effortless. A mother of two young girls, owner of MWR Equine Dentistry LLC and co-owner of Nicholasville Road Animal Hospital, Marty begins each day before dawn tending to the menagerie of animals—including, but not limited to, two leopard geckos and a miniature donkey—on the six-acre Central Kentucky farm she shares with her husband, Tom. In between work and family time, she nurtures a lifelong passion for eventing.
