What disciplines and/or activities are you involved in?
Mounted Games and Tetrathlon

Tell us about your current mount(s) and what you do with them:
My pony, Magic Merlin, passed away last summer. I am currently riding some of my mom’s and grandmother’s lessons ponies to practice Mounted Games. I have been able to borrow some of my teammates’ horses for competitions.

Tell us about your goals (with Pony Club, with riding, and life):
I am excited to have been selected to be part of the USPC team at the 2025 PCIA Mounted Games Exchange in the United Kingdom. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in athletics as a soccer player and become a Physical Education (P.E.) teacher.

What is your favorite thing about Pony Club?
Working as a team in Mounted Games to achieve goals and victories, meeting new people, and making new friends.

What is one thing you would tell younger members first about joining Pony Club?
If you want to continue to be better, you have to work hard and practice a lot.

What is your favorite way to prepare for a Horse Management certification?
Study with friends and make up games and flashcards.

If you could try out any other discipline or activity, what would it be and why?
Polocrosse

Describe your favorite Pony Club memory (give any details you remember):
Riding my pony Magic Merlin at the USPC Championships East in Tryon, N.C.

How did you get started with horses? Are you a member of any other equine organizations?
My family has always been in Pony Club. My mom (Emily Cambridge, of Northern Exposure Pony Club) is an H-A HM, B EV alum, and my older brother (Logan Carrier of Honey Dew Acres Pony Club Riding Center) is a C-2 EV alum. I also compete in horse shows with the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA).

Have you done any specific special activities in Pony Club, such as International Exchanges, Recognition Programs, Virtual Competitions, etc.)? Tell us more.
I am part of the USPC team participating in the 2025 PCIA Mounted Games Exchange in the United Kingdom. I was a member of the team “Hot Rods” at the 2025 EEI Mounted Games Invitational, which took place during the 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park.

I was awarded the Frances E. Pitts Memorial Trophy at the 2023 USPC Championships East and the Tiny But Mighty Award at the 2024 USPC Festival Championships.

[The Frances E. Pitts Memorial Trophy is given in memory of Frances Pitts, a member of the 1995 USPC International Mounted Games Team. It is awarded to the Mounted Games player who demonstrates excellence in horsemanship, sportsmanship, and leadership at USPC Mounted Games Championships.

The Tiny But Mighty Character Award is awarded to one member per discipline who displays excellent character both in and out of the arena. Members are chosen based on award submissions from competitors, Horse Management staff, volunteers, and discipline organizing volunteer staff.]

Having opportunities to travel and play Mounted Games across the United States and on international exchanges.

Thank you to all my coaches and teammates who have helped me succeed. A special thank you to my mom for helping me grow as a rider and getting me to all my events.
